Gemino at the ELIA Networking Days 2010

Gemino at the ELIA Networking Days 2010

Intelligent software support for the optimisation of translation processes and outcomes – this is what’s increasingly separating the wheat from the chaff within the industry. That is why it was a major focus of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA) Networking Days, held 15-17 April 2010, in Istanbul.

The event largely centred around innovations and their significance for the translation and localisation industry, with participants sharing about their experiences with specific developments and industry applications.

Gemino Managing Director Christian Schwendy held a lecture during the Networking Days on the process of selecting and integrating the translation memory tool “memoQ” at Gemino. He comments,

“International industry meetings like the ELIA Networking Days are extremely important for communication within the translation and localisation business. That’s why we plan to continue this dialogue at the next industry meeting, Localization World, being held in Berlin in June.”
