Gemino managing director becomes vice president of the industry organisation ELIA
Christian Schwendy, one of Gemino’s two managing directors and board member of the industry organisation ELIA (European Language Industry Association), has been elected vice president for the organisation’s 2012-2013 term.
“I’m pleased about having been elected vice president. Over the next two years, my principal focus will be on the fair representation of the interests of translation service providers in the EU economic area and the creation of further added value for our members,” says Schwendy. The ELIA Networking Days, held twice a year, are already considered one of the translation industry’s best conferences.
